Mental Health Day 2020

Mental Health Day 2020 helped raise awareness of the need for all of us to invest in our mental health. The pandemic has threatened a sense of community for many. Some of our people struggle more than others with working from home and for a variety of reasons. We have taken great care to listen to everyone’s needs and created team bubbles of less than six members and a bubble rota to enable people to work in the office and see colleagues safely. It’s worked incredibly well alongside the safe ‘Covid practices in the workplace’ we have instigated, again with input from our people. It has really helped to lift spirits, alongside our regular communications which help everyone to feel informed and provide an ongoing sense of connection to each other. We’ve also encouraged less formal communication groups so that colleagues can support each other in different ways. Our thanks too to our Mental Health First Aiders who continue to be available across our e2e community. Support for mental health can come in many forms and sometimes, it’s seemingly little things done well which can make the biggest difference.
